Youtube is my favorite website to search for new recipes. Not only do you have a wide variety of ideas to choose from, as there are countless Youtubers who activate in the cooking niche, but they also show you how to cook the food for optimal results. I have been watching Will Tennyson recipes videos and his funny videos for a while and tried some of his recipes. I have to admit, he makes me laugh and has great ideas.

Sometimes, I cook a low-calorie recipe from his channel while watching a funny video 🙂 (what can you do, I am also funny like that!). For other fitness-inspired meals, you should also check out some Remington James recipes.

Who is Will Tennyson?

Will Tennyson is one of those YouTubers who are not just into fitness, but have a very fun way of teaching followers what to do for a great physique. He tries to educate his audience through funny videos and collaborations with other Youtubers in the fitness niche. After struggling with weight loss in the past, Will decided to use his passion for fitness, cooking and motivating people to create a very successful Youtube Channel. Nowadays, he scores hundreds of thousands of views on each video and brings great vibes to people’s lives all around the world.

Will has a personal way of cooking, teaching, educating us, and being an entertainer. He usually cooks many recipes in one video but is kind enough to publish them in the description. 1.Healthy Meal Prep On A Budget (6 Easy Recipes)


BREAKFAST MUFFINS!

Ingredients:
– 1lbs sausage
– 4 eggs
– 1 cup shredded cheese
– 1 cup baking mix
– 3/4 cup apple (or any fruit/veggie of choice)

How to:
1) Remove sausage from casing and sauté down in a pan. Drain all excess fat.
*If you don’t care about the calories, you can keep the excess fat.
2) Combine, 4 eggs, cheese, baking mix, and diced apples. Add in your cooked sausage.
3) Spray some muffin tins and evenly distribute them into 12 muffins.
5) Bake @350F for 20-25 minutes.

STUFFED SWEET POTATOES

Ingredients:

– 3 whole medium-sized sweet potatoes 

– 1/2 a red onion 

– 9oz Chicken Breast

– 2 cloves garlic

– 1 Bell Pepper

– 1/4 cup tinned black beans, washed and rinsed

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1 cup shredded Cheese of Choice

How to:

1) Microwave or bake sweet potato until cooked all the way through. Cut the potato in half, remove the filling and set aside.

2) Dice and sauté your red onion, garlic, peppers, and chicken breast in a pan until cooked through

3) season your chicken and vegetables with cumin, paprika, and some salt and pepper to taste

4) Add your sweet potato filling to your saute mixture and combine

5) Put mixture into potato skins, cover with cheese

6) Bake in the oven until golden brown.

TUNA PASTA SALAD

Ingredients:

– 4 cups dried pasta

– 1 cup frozen or fresh peas

– 1 cup chopped carrots

– 1 cup chopped celery

– 1 cup sliced grape tomatoes

– 3 (4oz) cans tuna, drained

– 1/3 nonfat plain Greek yogurt

– 1/3 cup mayonnaise

– 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

– 1 tbsp dijon mustard

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp dried herb of choice

– 1 tsp salt * 1/2 tsp pepper

How to cook:

1) Cook pasta and drain, mix in your 1 cup of frozen peas.

2) In a large bowl add your tuna and your chopped vegetables.

3) Whisk together yogurt, mayo, vinegar, mustard, garlic, herbs, and pepper.

4) Add pasta to your bowl and pour dressing on top.

5) Combine well.

SIRLOIN STEAK STEW

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup flour

– 3/4 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp pepper

– 1lbs steak

– 1 small onion

– 1 clove garlic

– 1 can diced tomato

– 2 Green Peppers

– 3tbs beef broth (or whatever broth you want)

– 1.5tsp Worcestershire sauce

How to:

1) In a shallow bowl combine flour, salt, and pepper. Add beef slices and gently toss

2) Preheat the pan with a bit of oil or spray then brown your beef in batches

3) Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute

4) Add in tomatoes and bring to a boil

5) Reduce heat, add peppers, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and let simmer for 10-15 minutes

6) Serve over rice.

CHICKPEA CURRY SALAD

Ingredients:

– 1/3 cup plain yogurt

– 1tsp dijon mustard

– 1 tsp honey

– 1.5 tsp curry powder

– 1 can drained chickpeas

– 1/4 red onion

– Cilantro to taste

– Salt to taste

How to cook:

1) Drain and rinse chickpeas

2) combine all other ingredients in a bowl

3) Pour in chickpeas and combine with sauce

4) Serve with a pita

SAVOURY FRENCH TOAST
Ingredients:
– 150g Bread
– 250g Egg Whites
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano
– Salt to taste – 6-8oz ground meat
– 1 cup strained tomatoes
– 60g Part skim cheese

Instructions:
** Mix egg whites with your seasoning and submerge bread and cook like traditional french toast
** Top your french toast with your meat and tomato sauce mixture
** Sprinkle with cheese and broil until golden brown

3. How To Cook With Protein Powder (4 Easy Recipes)

BLUEBERRY COBLER OATS
Ingredients:
– 1 banana
– 1/2 cup oats
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– Pinch of salt
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1 1/2 tsp ground flax
– 1 tbsp Walden Farms Syrup
– 1/3 cup Cashew Milk
– 1 scoop (32g) BPN protein powder 
– 1/3 cup Fresh blueberries

Instructions:
– Add everything other than the blueberries to a blender and blend till smooth.
– Stir in fresh blueberries.
– Bake in muffin tins or loaf pan for 20-25 min @ 400 degrees.

FUDGE BARS Dry
Ingredients:
– 96g Protein
– 45g Coconut flour
– 1tsp brown sugar swerve
– 1tsp cocoa powder
– Pinch of salt
Wet:
– 13g PB2 (mixed with water so it’s like actual PB)
– 1tbs coconut oil (melted)
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
Topping:
– 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
– Mix dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until well combined
– Press evenly into a medium-sized baking dish lined with parchment paper to avoid sticking
– Add to the fridge to harden up for 10-15 minutes
– Melt down your chocolate chips then spread evenly over the hardened mixture
– Place back in the fridge for a minimum of 15-20 min (longer is better)
– Cut into 6-8 pieces

COOKIE DOUGH (Makes 3 Servings)
Ingredients:
– 30g coconut flour
– 96g vanilla protein powder
– 6 tbs unsweetened apple sauce
– 3 tsp Cashew milk
– 1.5 tsp butter extract
– 2 servings of chocolate chips

– Mix all together until evenly combined. Ready to eat

CINNAMON ROLL CHEESECAKE
Ingredients:
Crust:
– 16g cinnamon toast crunch
– 40g almond flour
– 2 tbs coconut oil (melted)
Filling:
– 1 cup greek yogurt
– 250g fat-free cream cheese
– 2 scoops (64g) Cinnamon roll protein
– 2 eggs
– 12g stevia
– 1/2 tsp vanilla
– 16g cinnamon toast crunch

How to cook:
– Blend cinnamon toast crunch and almond flour together then mix with coconut oil. Press down evenly on the bottom of the cheesecake pan and pre-bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees
– Add all ingredients of the filling to the blender other than the cereal and blend till smooth. Fold in the cinnamon toast crunch
– Pour the filling onto the pre-baked crust and put it back in the oven for 25+ minutes at 350 degrees.
– Once you remove it from the oven, let it sit for an additional 30 minutes

4. MAKING LOW-CALORIE CHEAT MEALS | FOOD HACKS – Will Tennyson recipes

ITALIAN STYLE BURGER
Patty:
– 12oz Extra-lean ground beef
– 4 oz Turkey sausage
Take this patty to another level
– 1 egg
– 2 TBS parm herb seasoning
– 3 TBS Bread crumbs
– 3 TBS Ketchup Salt & Pepper Parsley
Sauce:
– 1/4 cup Mayo
– 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
– 2 TBS Chopped sun-dried Tomato
– 1 TBS Chopped Basil Salt & Pepper

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients:
– 2 Cups Almond Flour
– 1/4 Arrowroot Starch
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1.5 tsp Vanilla
– 3/8 cup Walden farms
– 1.5 tbs Coconut oil
– 1/4 cup cashew milk
– 1/4 cup- 1/2 cup chocolate chips Pretzels

** Microwave coconut oil and mix in Walden farms
** Bake 350 for 15 minutes middle rack

CHINESE TAKE-OUT:
General Tao Chicken:
– 2 tsp cornstarch w/ pinch of salt & pepper
– 2 chicken breasts diced into bite-sized chunks
** coat and let sit out for 15 minutes
Sauce:
– 1/4 cup ketchup 2tbs rice vinegar
– Half tablespoon Hoison sauce
– 4 tsp brown sugar
– 4 tsp soy sauce Top w/ scallions chill flake optional

Lo-Mein:
– 8oz egg noodles
– 2 cloves garlic Package mushrooms
– 1 bell pepper
– 1/2 cup carrots shredded
– 1/2 cup snow peas
– Handful spinach Sauce:
– 2 tbs soy sauce
– 2 tsp sugar alternative
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1/2 tsp ground ginger
– 1/2-1tsp sriracha

CHOCOLATE CAKE:
Ingredients:
– 1 cup Flour
– 6 tbsp cocoa powder
– 1/2 tsp each: baking soda and salt
– 3/4 cup 0 cal sweetener
– 1/4 cup Greek yogurt 
– 3/4 cup water
– 1/4 cup PB2
– 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
**350 degrees for 25 minutes

FROSTING:
– 175g yogurt
– 2 tbs sweeter & cocoa powder
– 2 tbs chocolate pudding mix Little nut
– milk to mix

5. Making Popular Fast Food At Home…But Better

HOMEMADE TORTILLA RECIPE (Josh Weissman)
– 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
– 1 Teaspoon Salt
– 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
– 3/4 Cup Hot Water
– 1/4 Oil (I use vegetable oil OR almond oil)

*Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and whisk until well combined
* Slowly mix in your hot water and oil and combine until it starts to turn into a dough
* Pour your dough onto the counter and begin to knead for around 5 minutes
* Cover your dough ball in plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour
* Roll your tortillas into your desired sizes (should make around 6-8)
* Have your pan pre heating on medium high heat WITHOUT any oil
* Place your tortilla onto the pan and let cook until it begins to bubble (this should take 30-45 seconds)
* Flip tortillas and let cook for an additional 30-45 seconds then put on a plate with a towel or paper towel
* Use these tortillas to fill with egg whites, low calorie sausage (remove from casing), low fat cheese and vegetables of choice! Enjoy!

“POPEYES” CHICKEN SANDWICH

The Chicken
– 2 x 8oz Chicken Breast
– 1 Cup buttermilk
– 1 Teaspoon Paprika
– 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
– 1 Teaspoon Salt
– 1 Teaspoon Pepper

* Combine all ingredients in a ziplock bag and let chicken marinade overnight or at least 8 hours

Chicken Dredge mixture
– 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
– 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
– 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
– 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
– 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
– 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika

* Once your chicken is done marinating in buttermilk mixture, evenly coat your chicken in the flour mixture
* Place in your air fryer for 25 minutes @ 390 degrees (make sure to spray the top with some non stick spray)
* Check at the halfway mark. Flip the chicken and spray again with some non stick spray

The Cajun Sauce
– 1/4 Cup Light Mayo
– 1/4 Cup 0% Greek Yogurt
– 1 Teaspoon Hot Sauce
– 1 Teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
– 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

* Mix all ingredients in a bowl and ready to serve

EASY 2 INGREDIENTS PIZZA DOUGH
– 1.5 Cups Self Rising Flour
– 1 Cup 0% Greek Yogurt
– Salt to taste

* Combine all ingredients until it forms into a dough
* Roll into a ball and cover with plastic wrap
* Let dough sit for 15 minutes
* After dough has sat, get a pan with parchment paper (spray with non stick spray)
* Spread your dough out onto pan (make sure to have a little bowl with water to dip your fingers to prevent any sticking)
* Place your toppings on the pizza dough
* Bake for 25 minutes @ 450 degrees

Lower Calorie Tomato Sauce
– 1/2 Cup Strained Tomatoes
– 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
– 1/2 Teaspoon Fresh or Dried Basil
– 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
– 1/4 Teaspoon Chilli Flake (Optional)

* Combine all ingredients and use as your pizza sauce!

NOT MCDONALD’S APPLE PIE

The Filling
– 4 Apples Diced (skin removed)
– 1/4 Cup Butter – Juice of 1 Lemon
– 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
– 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
– 115g Brown Sugar Swerve
– Pinch of Nutmeg
– 3 Teaspoons Cornstarch

* Add all ingredients (Other than corn starch) to a pot and cook down until apples soften and moisture is gone
* Mix your cornstarch with 1 teaspoon of water and combine until it turns into a paste
* Slowly add cornstarch mixture to your soften apples and let cook for an additional 2 minutes
* Remove Pot from heat and let mixture completely cool before filling your puff pastry

Assembling Your Apple Pies
– Fill your puff pastry with 2 heap scoops of the apple mixture
– Fold dough over then press down with a fork so the edges are closed
– Cut 3 slits on the top of the pies
– Brush lightly with some egg whites so it turns golden brown
– Sprinkle with a little “Cinnamon sugar” (Equal parts stevia and cinnamon)
– Bake for 25 minutes @ 425 degrees

6. My Cutting DIET & ROUTINE | Healthy Recipes + Grocery Haul – Will Tennyson recipes

SMOOTHIE:
– 250ml Coconut Water
– Juice of 1 Lime 100g
– Pineapple 175g
– Greek Yogurt 0%
– 40g Celery
– 75g Spinach
– 1 Apple 75g
– Cucumber

OVERNIGHT OATS:
– 90g Oatmeal
– 175g Yogurt
– 250ml Nut Milk
– 1 Scoop (32g) Protein Powder
– 1/2 Cup Fruit of choice

TOFU SCRAMBLE:
– 450g Firm Tofu
– 100g Kale
– 350g Potato
– 75g Bell Pepper
– 2 Cloves Garlic
– 1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast
– Soy Sauce to taste
– Turmeric, Cumin, Garlic powder to taste

**Bake potato and dice into bite size chunks
** Add potato to pan with bell peppers and garlic and sautee…Around 5 minutes
** Break up your block of tofu into the pan to look like scrambled eggs and combine. Let cook for additional 3 minutes
** Add kale to the pan and let wilt down
** Add soy sauce, nutritional yeast and other spices and mix well. Let cook for additional 3-5 minutes

It doesn’t matter if you are looking for low-calorie meals, bulking inspiration, fitness advice or just general recipes, you will deffinitely find a good time watching Will Tennyson recipes. These are my favorite ideas from his channel, but you can make your own list on Youtube.
