Mukbang videos have been more than trending for the past 15 years, and many people online have made a living for themselves while broadcasting cooking and eating sessions to fans all around the world. What are mukbang recipes?

The mukbang phenomenon started in South Korea in 2010. Since then it has become a major global trend. It is basically an eating show where a host consumes various amounts of food live while interacting with the audience. People seem to find this type of broadcasting very entertaining and derive great pleasure in consuming their own food while watching the streamer. Apparently, mukbang videos create a great sense of belonging regardless if you feel lonely or not.

Besides being a great entertainment source for the audience, mukbang streams have an educational purpose. Thus, they introduce viewers to regional specialties and traditional food from all around the world. Mukbang recipes have gained popularity all over the globe and normal people (as in those who are not famous streamers) wish to try them in the comfort of their own homes.

Noodle mukbang recipes

As mukbangs originated in South Korea and other Asian regions, it was only normal that the first ever mukbang foods consumed by streamers in front of their audience to be noodle-based. However, recipes have evolved with time. Nowadays, people from all around the world cook all types of foods to enjoy in front of a live audience. As I really enjoy noodles and pasta, I tried to stay somewhat traditional and compile a list of noodle-based mukbang recipes for this article.
