I feel like Herbalife is one of those companies that has been around since forever. My mom used their products when I was little and recycled the packages into sugar, salt, or flour containers. I started drinking some of their shakes now and then to help me keep my belly microbiota healthy and I felt good every time.
A few days ago one of my friends sent me the Herbalife Shake Recipes pdf and totally rocked my world. I had no idea this existed. Nostalgia alert! I’m going to try them all and find out which ones my mom used to make.
What is Herbalife?
If you are one of those people who have no idea what this company does, you are a very rare specimen, my friend. 🙂 Herbalife Nutrition is a global company specialized in providing nutrition products, meal replacements and weight loss products since the 1980s. It was and still is a very popular brand all around the world. Some of their most famous products are powder shake mixes and protein powders.
What recipes can you find in the Herbalife Shakes Recipes book?
The Herbalife Shake Recipes pdf features over 70 delicious recipes for shakes, 5 beverages recipes and 14 recipes for other delicious treats. For example, you can learn how to make chili shakes, herbal ice cream or nutritional biscuits.
What are some delicious recipes from the book?
Of course, I haven’t gotten to try all the recipes yet. So far, I have 3 favorite shakes that I drink every few days to help with my digestion. I will not lie, the main reason I tried them first was how easy it was for me to find the ingredients.
- Strawberry-Kiwi Shake
- Chocolate-Strawberry Shake
- Apple Pie Shake
As you can see, I chose some shakes with basic ingredients that I can find at any supermarket. If you like in a more exotic place, you can try other recipes:
- Melon Masterpiece
Ingredients: 2 tbsp tropical fruit Shake, 8 oz. water (237 ml), ½ fresh mango, ½ cup fresh cantaloupe, 3 ice cubes.
- Kapalua Crush
Ingredients: 1 serving Vanilla NPD, 200ml fresh fruit juice, 50mk low fat yoghurt, 1 banana, ⅓ cup paw paw, crushed ice (optional).
Ingredients: 1 serving Vanilla NPD, ¼ paw paw, 200ml apple juice, 50mk Herbal Aloe, a dash of cinnamon.
How do I make my Herbalife shake?
For each recipe, you just have to blend all ingredients together for about 30 seconds – one minute. Once you get to the desired texture, all you have to do is enjoy the deliciousness.
